Jason's Inspiration: I was really inspired to make a statement about “The World Needs Who You Were Made To Be” in our lives no matter how cracked, uneven, and rough our pasts were. I also wanted to challenge myself to do a project with colors I don't normally use such as this combination of yellow, green and blue hues. Description : The Who You Were Made To Be Treasure Chest piece measures 8.5" x 7" x 6.5" featuring a sturdy wooden chest. I used a stencil and soft body gel to create texture all over. I then added chipboard followed by multiple layers of various moulds adhered with heavy body gel to give the piece depth on all four sides and the top. I added more detail with found objects, ephemera, mechanical gears, hearts, and screw heads. Liquid acrylics of yellow, green and blue green to give the chest drama. Description : "Focus on the Good" piece measures 10" x 8" x 1" and features a sturdy wood canvas with two raised wood blocks along with rich mixed media textures, found/upcycled objects, bright colors, ephemera, mechanical gears, hearts, crown, wings and the "Focus on the Good" sentiment. Jason's Inspiration: La-La Land Crafts hosted their 2022 Virtual Craft Retreat. This super cute Steampunk Folio was designed by the talented Alexandra Morein on September 25, 2022. Description : The album measures 8" x 5" x 1.5 with numerous areas for photos and memorabilia. It features fun bright blue, gold and craft colors with La-La Land's Steampunk Marcy characters and die cut details.
