Sir Vagabond Steampunk Travel Chest
Inspiration: I’m a big fan of steampunk so when I found a wood chest and combined it with Finnabair's moulds and Stamperia moulds and papers, I knew it would be a fun combination to create a steampunk travel chest! 😊. I hope this inspires you to create something fun!
Description: I affixed the Sir Vagabond themed scrapbook papers from Stamperia on the inside of the travel chest using Mod Podge. I used the two-part Amazing Casting Resin to create numerous Stamperia and Prima Finnabair moulds. I adhered the moulds and mechanicals to the travel case with Heavy Body Gel. I painted the entire case using acrylics (blues and browns). I platter painted acrylic paints (white, black, silver and gold). Last, I used Cosmic Shimmer Special Effect Rust Paints to give the piece a wonderful rusty look. The piece measures 13 wide x 8.5" deep x 5" thick.
