Jason's Inspiration :  My wife Nanci and I were excited to take Jamie Dougherty's "Into the Forest" clock class during the Prima Art Venture - Gather Charity Wings! Since Nanci and I both signed up for the class, I decided to do a steampunk themed clock for my project which now hangs in my office. Description: We used round wooden board for the clock base. I used Timeworks Decoupage tissue paper by Prima for the foundation of the design. I added a wide variety of gears, numbers and ephemera. I installed a simple clock kit but then went on to add a tactile grouping of gears along the bottom to give the piece a unique look while adding depth and drama. Jason's Inspiration :  My wife Nanci and I were excited to take Frank Garcia’s “Vintage Sewing Altered Clock” multimedia class during the Prima Art Venture - Gather Charity Wings! Description: We used Finnabair's Altered Metal Frame Clock and covered it in white gesso, applied some aging effects with paints. We decorated the inside panel, attached a clear acrylic sheet and filled it with buttons. We decorated the exterior of the clock with Prima flowers, ribbon and cording and other ephemera. I chose to line the interior of the clock with a strand of battery operated lights to give the piece a warm glow. Jason's Inspiration : My wife and I had the opportunity to go to CeCe's studio in Indianapolis for her CeCe ReStyled event before the Indy Pinner's Conference on October 7, 2021. It was an amazing opportunity to talk with her 1:1 regarding furniture redesign tips and tricks. Description : One of her make-n-takes was using a wooden coat hanger and a sample of Ubend material. I returned home and my imagination kicked-in high gear taking on a richly colored Steampunk theme adding gears, ephemera and finishing waxes.
