Description :  For the Spring section, scrapbook paper and acrylic paint and model turf grass was applied to the area. Colorful wood cutouts, gears, flowers, mechanicals, gears, butterflies, ephemera and found objects were added to the section to fill the space with bursts of colorful elements. Finally, a cute garden gnome that served as the primary focal point giving the section a colorful spring feeling. Description : After completing the lantern and rotary tray base, I focused on the Winter season section by applying scrap paper and acrylic paint to the area. I printed out a 3D snowman that served as the primary focal point for the Winter section. I used a card that I created with a winter scene and combined it with a chipboard die cut window frame. Wood cutouts, gears, flowers, pearls, mechanicals, gears, and ephemera were added to the section to fill the space with interesting elements., Miniatures were added along with the 3D printed snowman serving as the primary focal point. Inspiration: I repurposed a lazy-Susan appetizer rotating tray and an IKEA Borrby lantern and came up with the idea to showcase each of the four seasons with partitions to showcase some fun mixed media ephemera, mechanicals, floral and themed miniatures. I hope this inspires you to create something fun! Description : After removing the glass and door off of a IKEA Borrby lantern, I mounted it onto a wooden rotating appetizer tray. I cut chipboard dividers to create four section to feature each season. I applied colored papers and acrylic paint to block in colors chosen for each area. I then gathered mechanicals, gears, trinkets, found objects, floral elements and themed miniatures from my stash of craft goodies. 😊 I then assembled each season one-by-one featuring a primary focal item while covering the area in fun items and colors for each section.  (Each season is detailed in a separate posting).  I finished off the four seasons piece by adding miniature lights.  Products : Rep
