Inspiration:  I paired the Ciao Bella Heart Shaped Chip Board Carved Pages with Stamperia’s beautiful Sleeping Beauty papers and rice papers and added mixed media and mechanical elements to create this unique 28-page True Love Once Upon a Time Heart Mini-Album. Description : The True Love Once Upon a Time Heart Mini-Album features 4 carved heart pages with various designs, 6 thick heart pages and 4 thin heart pages bound with jump rings. The piece measures 10” tall x 8.5” wide and 2.5” deep with loads of space for photos and memorabilia on 20 pages. On the decorative pages, I used mixed media techniques for the magical colors accented with mechanical elements. The album is decorated throughout using the beautiful Sleeping Beauty papers and rice papers by Stamperia. The album is filled with fussy-cut images, Stickles glitter areas and Glossy Accents to give elements a three-dimensional look. Inspiration:  I upcycled a holiday décor piece on clearance last year. I wanted to take it to the next level with mixed-media steampunk and holiday elements. Description : The mixed media Magical Christmas Sleigh home décor piece features a metal sled measuring 23” tall x 12.25” wide and 4.75” deep.  I layered various resin molded elements and holiday décor items to give it depth. I upcycled a Santa face from a holiday candle package as the focal point with a single jingle bell necklace (upcycled from a holiday package) attaching all these items with Heavy Body Gel. I used acrylic paints and waxes to give the piece color and highlight the details of the mold pieces. I finished it off with paint splatters and spray glitter.
